Frequently Asked Questions in Taylorsville

Chiropractic Taylorsville UT One Stop Wellness family

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! Our Taylorsville Chiropractic Office works with all auto insurance companies or attorneys if your injury is related to an auto accident.

We are also in-network with some major medical insurance companies and we will check with your insurance provider to verify your benefits in advance as a courtesy to you.

Do you accept HSA Cards or FLEX?

Yes! Because we are a doctor-directed clinic, we are able to process payments using your HSA or FLEX.

What if I don't have insurance?

We have structured our pricing to be easily affordable even if you do not have health insurance or chiropractic benefits. Depending on the situation, you may choose the pay-as-you-go pricing, or if it makes sense, one of our discounted monthly membership plans.

Is Chiropractic Safe?

Yes! Even the most basic over-the-counter medications can have harmful side-effects, and while there are no therapies that are 100% free of potential harm, chiropractic, by comparison, is very safe. The most common adverse effect would be some mild soreness the day after getting an adjustment, which is similar to the soreness you would feel after exercise. Other potential adverse-effects are extremely rare, but to take every precaution, all patients will have an initial exam and evaluation prior to receiving any treatment to ensure maximum comfort and safety.

Can I come in just for Cryotherapy?

Absolutely! For the best results we often recommend combining multiple therapies, however, if there is a specific therapy that you are wanting, you can choose just the therapies that you are interested in receiving.

Do you offer soft-tissue therapies?

Yes! We also perform soft-tissue therapies such as IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) using specialized tools which are designed to break up scar tissue, as well as cupping therapy, and percussion using the Hypervolt tool.

Which is better, compression boots or cryotherapy?

Both the compression boots and cryotherapy are designed to speed up recover and reduce soreness and inflammation. They achieve this in different ways, and we recommend doing both the cryotherapy as well as the compression boots for maximum results.

Do you treat herniated discs or pinched nerves?

Yes! Proper diagnosis is key. We perform digital x-ray analysis and physical examination in our clinic, however in some cases we may refer out to have specialized imaging performed such as an MRI or CT. When a pinched nerve or disc herniation has been identified, we utilize a specific protocol to address any alignment problems, muscle spasms, or other factors such as compression. The best outcomes are experienced with multi-faceted approach including spinal traction/decompression, chiropractic, massage therapy, and rehabilitative exercises.
